The Red Theatre is where I saw an acrobatic show in Beijing, and it turned out to be a really good way to spend an evening. After a full day of walking and sightseeing, it was nice to just sit down and watch something instead of moving from place to place.

I personally booked my tickets at https://ticketbeijing.cn/product/red-theatre/, and it worked flawlessly. You can choose between the 15:30-16:30 show, and the 17:00-18:00 show. You will also be able to choose different seatings. I sat at the blue seats, which were perfectly fine for me.

Yes, if you want something different from daytime sightseeing.

It is simple, focused, and easy to enjoy. You sit down, watch something impressive, and leave an hour later feeling like you experienced something you would not normally see at home.
